More Than Child Care
Explora Academy is an award-winning bilingual early childhood education center in South Jordan, Utah. For more than a decade, we have created a warm, home-like community where children are known, loved and encouraged to explore the world around them.
Our approach combines meaningful relationships with hands-on, project-based learning. Children investigate ideas, ask questions, create, collaborate and build confidence through experiences connected to their interests and development. English and Spanish are naturally incorporated throughout the day, helping children develop language skills while learning to appreciate different cultures.
Our Philosophy
We believe children learn best when they feel safe, connected and genuinely excited about what they are discovering. Our teachers observe each child’s interests and use them to create purposeful projects and experiences that support cognitive, social, emotional, physical and language development.
Children are not expected to learn in exactly the same way or at the same pace. We provide structure and guidance while giving them meaningful opportunities to make choices, express their ideas, solve problems and become increasingly independent.

Explora is intentionally designed to feel personal and welcoming. Our teachers build meaningful relationships with each child and work closely with families to understand their routines, strengths, needs and milestones.
Through open communication and regular updates, families remain connected to their child’s experiences and development. We want every parent to feel confident that their child is safe, supported and treated as an important part of our community.
Our Team
Our educators complete required background checks, pediatric CPR and First Aid certification, and ongoing early-childhood training. More importantly, they bring patience, warmth and a sincere commitment to helping every child feel that they belong.
